Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. Why is JAM moving online this year?

A.  This was a difficult decision because we were hoping to see you face-to-face! However, we believe that it is best to refrain from gathering in larger groups at this time due to Covid-19. On a positive note, having JAM online will allow students from all over the U.S. to attend!

Q. Who is eligible to attend JAM?

A.  JAM is designed for upcoming 8th graders through outgoing seniors. We accept vocals, piano/keys, guitar, bass, drums, and strings. Although all levels of experience are accepted, it is preferable to at least have basic musical knowledge and skill.

Q. What will the JAM 2021 schedule look like?

A.  Here is the tentative JAM schedule for each day:

10:00am-12:15pm CST - Main Session, Small Groups, Workshop

          12:15-1:00pm CST - Lunch Break

1:00-3:00pm CST - JAM Group planning and JAM Sessions

Q. What is the JAM 2021 "BEYOND" theme about?

A.  Glad you asked! With all that has happened the past year, we often find ourselves living in fear and anxiety. But God desires for us to see "BEYOND" our circumstances and to live a life of worship that goes "BEYOND" just a song. Check out our theme song HERE.

Q. What equipment do I need for JAM?

A.  You will need a computer or tablet with a stable internet signal, a cell phone with video recording, and the instrument you wish to play (if applicable). We will primarily be using the "Zoom" platform for JAM.

Q. How will online JAM Sessions work?

A. During JAM sessions, you will interact online and work with your group to choose songs and plan your worship set. You will also practice individually, record, and share your respective parts with your group during the week (don't worry - we will show you how to do this!).

Q. What will the JAM 2021 Worship Concert look like?

A.  Each JAM group will prepare 2-3 songs, and the concert will be comprised of the final video/audio recordings from each group. The JAM concert will premiere online on Sunday, July 18 at 7pm CST (date/time subject to change).

Q. Can I still register for JAM if I cannot attend the whole week?

A.  In order for all JAM participants to get the most out of the camp, we ask that you commit to attend the whole week. We do not accept part-time registrants.

Q. What is the JAM 2021 Refund Policy?

A.  Email notice given by 5/21/21 - 100% of registration less $20 admin fee

Email notice given by 6/28/21 - 50% of registration less $20 admin fee

      No refunds after 6/28/21
